A few useful things to know about the Star
We are a not for profit, registered Community Interest Company dedicated to bringing exciting arts and music events to mid-Wales.
This is achieved through the hard work of our fantastic directors, staff and volunteers.
Your support means that we are able to continue to improve the building and facilities.
Star Bar
We have a bar at our events! We sell a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, hot drinks, snacks, and you might even find a slice of delicious homemade cake to fuel the dancing!
Toilets
We currently have a portaloo, with the intention of building a toilet block extension to the Star. Whilst we’re working on the plans, you can help by attending our events, buying drinks, or donating to our toilet fund.
Ticket Prices
We are aware of how much we are all having to tighten our belts with the current cost of living crisis, and hate the idea of people missing out on our events due to lack of funds. Therefore at the Star we implement a tiered ticketing system, so that if you’re feeling the pinch you can still come and join in the fun. We have a reduced rate, standard rate, and an upper tier for those who are able and willing to give a little extra to support the project.
